FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(London, May 1) MDL Communications announced today that they are releasing Colin Ludlow from his long-term contract with the company. "It's purely a business decision," reports Edwin Aldritch, the company's Vice President of Marketing. "Since Colin quit the Court Jesters, we feel he can be better served in his career by an organization that specializes in actors, not musicians."

Ludlow, 32, is best known for semi-regular roles on Beverly Hills 90210, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Men Behaving Badly, in addition to numerous guest roles in both U.K. and U.S. television series. Until March 2003, he fronted the well-known "parody" band the Court Jesters, along with his brother, Eric. Currently Ludlow tours as a guitarist in the Paul McCartney "Driving Europe" tour.
