FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Well-known British actor and musician Colin Ludlow has entered a one-month in-patient rehabilitation program at Sanctuary Clinic in Guildford, Surrey. "He has realised his habits have gotten too far out of control," reports his father, pop music magnate Sir Michael Ludlow. "We're confident that the in-patient program will put Colin far along the road to revovery." Always known as something of a "bad boy," Ludlow's partying habits started spinning out of control after being falsely accused of fathering poptart Nicola Darby's unborn child (a child she later confessed to having made up just to make her boyfriend, fellow Together 4Ever member Jordan Pike, jealous.) "The pressure of the false accusation-- along with the reaction of family and friends to the claim-- clearly set him off," comments Sir Michael. Ludlow, dubbed "the small screen Ewan McGregor" for his similarity of appearance and choice of acting roles, first became noticed on the American soaper Beverly Hills, 90210. He has appeared on numerous television shows and in a selection of independent features, including the controversial Liar's Kiss (1993). An accomplished musician, he has for many years fronted the satiric pop band The Court Jesters. Once his in-patient stint has finished, Ludlow will continue with outpatient treatment. |
